KJV Bible / AcroBible Suite App Reviews

Great offline capabilities!

I got this app because it seemed to indicate that everything would be available offline--true to their word, it is. Quick app, quick browsing (except picking the book initially--they are in 1 long list, one under the prev). Note taking and good strongs dictionary usage. I ditched BLB in favor of this, because of the offline study ability. UPDATE: the recent upgrades have made book selection VERY easy and quick. I highly recommend this app!

This is what I was looking for

With this app you can type in word or words for a search. All of the matches to those words are listed for you to "click" on to go to that particular verse in its contents. That is very good for finding what the Bible say by remembering a word or two of the verse.

Acrobible Kevin

I love this . Have been using it for a few years and have found it to be the best for my bible study and research.

Update

Needs a serious update! It keeps crashing when I try to search words! And sometimes it just randomly crashes. Please update!

The good news

Love this app so far. It is so simple to get around in it, allows you to set it up according to your likings. You can take notes and so much more. Great job.

They ripped a lot of pepper off!

I had this app for awhile and then deleted it. When I came bake later and re-downloaded it I discovered that they had removed the NIV and two devotionals I paid for. Did I get a refund for what I had paid for? NO! This was a very dirty trick. I paid more than $10 for those extras, and they just took them down from the shop. I dont care if a copyright lease ran out, I paid for those things! Dont by any of the extras unless your a sap.

Excellent Bible App

I like AcroBible much better than Olive Tree when it comes to quick access to the study tools. And you get a ton of them even with the free KJV download. Note to the reader: GET IT!! Then if you want ESV or NIV, NAS, buy the other versions in app. For me, the instant access to Strong’s concordance, Greek NT, Matthew Henry’s Commentary, JFB Commentary, Easton’s Bible Dictionary, etc. are a huge plus. All of these pop right up as soon as you hold your finger on a given verse. Split screen and there it is! Navigation is very easy. (I only wish they had more options for text and background, but that is a minor issue.) An outstanding app overall. For church use and offline study, this is the fastest and best one.

Excellent Bible App

I use this app every day either on my tablet or phone and it is well worth the price. After exploring all the features, you will find it easy to navigate and go right to the chapter or verse you want. Great search feature, as well. Integration of Strongs Concordance and various commentaries is well done. The Thompson Chain Reference Bibles topics are one of the finest study aids available. Just touch and hold on a verse and they pop up. Web Sync allows you to back up you personal notes, etc. Plus it includes a free web site to access you Bible online. As a pastor I recommend it. The developer is very helpful and responded quickly to my inquiries
